Business Communication Skills: Learn to express doubt in business

During a business discussion, a business meeting or a business presentation, you might doubt something that has been said. However, it's important to express your doubts or your concerns using professional English.


Using the professional language below is a great way to express doubt in business. The language is polite, but clearly expresses your opinion. The language below also gives you a few different ways to let your colleagues know that you have concerns.


In business English when we want to communication something that isn't positive or when we want to express our concern, we often begin with, "To be honest, ......" or "Frankly speaking ...", or "To be perfectly honest, ...."

Using this kind of business English will clearly express your doubt and will show your international colleagues that you can communicate well in a business situation.
